Antioch: Two-alarm blaze at mini-storage business

Richard Andrews, a worker at the Napa Auto Parts store next door, said he saw flames going up.

ANTIOCH — Firefighters were at the scene of a two-alarm fire at a mini-storage business Mon afternoon authorities said.

Firefighters received the 1st call about the fire at 6:24 in the afternoon initially hearing it was on Hillcrest Avenue, a Contra Costa County Fire Protection District dispatcher said.

Firefighters and police then converged on Antioch Mini-Storage, 815 Sunset Dr. and began battling flames.

Richard Andrews, a worker at the Napa Auto Parts store next door, commented he saw flames going up.
